FITTA WARRI wurde in St D’Acre, Jamaika, geboren, lebte in Franklyn Town, Kingston und wuchs in der Tradition der jamaikanischen Rasta-Kultur auf, wie sie von Bob Marley oder Mutabaruka vertreten wird.

Er arbeitete mit der „Live Wyya Band”, „Bass Odyssey Sound System” und „Zion Train“ zusammen, kam in Kontakt mit jamaikanischem Dancehall und gehört zu den Vertretern des Conscious Reggae. Er veröffentlichte zahlreiche Reggae- und Dub- Alben und Singles (u. a. „Sababa Vibes“, 2005, „Dirty Dancehall”, 2016). Kooperationen mit dem Dresdner Trio BALKANAILLE, mit Zion Train und dem Londoner Dubstep Artist „Hit By A Rock”. Fitta Warri lebt in Düsseldorf.
